POWER LUNCH, a Feeding The Soul Ministry, offers workers in Washington, DC, Baltimore, MD, Suitland, MD, Atlanta, GA, Columbus, OH, and Columbia, SC an opportunity to worship during their workweek.

POWER LUNCH founded by Rev. Matthew L. Watley, Executive Minister of Reid Temple AME Church in Glen Dale, MD, started on September 10, 2001 in a federal building in Washington, DC, the day before the tragedy that changed the course of our country. As America turned back to God in the days that followed, we knew that this ministry had been sent for such a time as this.

POWER LUNCH Columbia was launched and planted by Rev. Wately in July 2005 in order to spread the blessing of this movement to the rest of the nation. The first host minister and facilitator was Pastor Eric J. Freeman, Senior Pastor of The MEETING Place Church International.

POWER LUNCH Columbia, is now hosted and facilitated by Rev. A. A. Dicks, Jr. This wonderful workweek worship experience is held every Wednesday from 12:00 to 12:45pm at The MEETING Place Church, 3101 Percival Rd. The weekly leadership lessons are practical, portable, and powerful. Free lunch is also provided.
